Katy Perry Joins John Mayer to Perform “Who You Love” at Brooklyn Concert
John Mayer closed out the U.S. leg of his tour on Tuesday with a special guest, his on-and-off girlfriend Katy Perry. At the Barclays Center in Brooklyn, the crooner brought out his gal pal for an encore performance of their song “Who You Love.”
The pair started and ended the duet with a quick smooch. The performance came hours after the couple premiered the “Who You Love” music video during their first joint interview on “Good Morning America.” During the appearance, Perry talked about their relationship and said, “We have a lot of fun. You know, we have music as an understanding and love between each other and we connect and you know its like he understands what I do because he does the same thing.”
She also joked, when asked whether their music video for “Who You Love” was a response to Kim Kardashian and Kanye West’s “Bound 2” video, the she felt “our response was a little bit more authentic because my hair was blowing in the right direction”
Note: The video of their performance of “Who You Love” at the Barclays Center is no longer available.
