John Mayer: Katy Perry Romance Doesn’t Feel Like “Celebrity Relationship” (VIDEO)

John Mayer opens up about his relationship with Katy Perry in a new CBS News profile.

As Gossip Cop previously reported, Mayer took the opportunity to admit about his previous high-profile romances, “I was just a jerk.”

In the full interview, Mayer explains that things are different with Perry.

“I don’t feel like I’m in a celebrity relationship,” says the singer. “For the first time in my life, I don’t feel like I’m in a celebrity relationship. I really don’t.”

Despite his fame (and Perry’s), Mayer insists, “I’m saying that for me it feels like something that’s very human.”

    whatever people think of John Mayer is somewhat irrelevant . He is a really good songwriter . i actually loves a few of his songs , and i’m glad he is coming back and singing again . His personal life and relationship are his burden to bare not mine , i’m glad he finally grew up realize he was a big fat jerk and he’s moving on with his life . I’m sure some people will not agree with my opinion … it’s ok i knew a lot of “jerks” in my life even worse than Mayer , but i realize forgiveness is a wonderful thing , not for their sake but for mine… good luck John !

    This guy used to come off as a regular guy….than he seemed to really start believing his own hype about himself…He comes off as A guy who believes that dating these women gives you a leg-up in the dating world as seen by tabloid scumbags…All it really gets you is a lot of wasted time spent trying to get in to these ladies open and waiting panties…Go back too reality and date some real people in the real world…..and for goodness sakes keep it too yourself…PLEASE!!!
