Joe Simpson was reportedly arrested for DUI in L.A.

The father of Jessica and Ashlee Simpson was picked up on August 4 at a stop, where police busted him for being drunk, reports TMZ.

Simpson spent the night in jail, and was released the following morning.

A first-time offender, he will probably just be slapped with a fine.
