Joe Jonas “Flips Off the Paparazzi”?

The Insider is at it again.

Just days after falsely reporting that Stacy Keibler was sporting a “baby bump,” the outlet is misrepresenting a photo of Joe Jonas, claiming it shows the singer making an obscene gesture at paparazzi.

The site reports, “Hold on to your purity rings ladies, because it looks like the onetime squeaky clean Jonas brother isn’t above flipping the bird!”

According to The Insider, the presence of a photographer “clearly annoyed the onetime teen idol” during a recent jog, leading him to flip off the shutterbug.

“While his frustration is understandable… wouldn’t it be better if he just full-on gave the photographer the middle finger instead of lamely trying to cover it up with a nose scratch?” asks the site.

Um, we’re thinking it would be “better” if The Insider didn’t turn a completely innocuous moment into some kind of mini-Alec Baldwin confrontation.

Jonas was NOT flipping off the paparazzi.

It could be wrongly construed that way, but the singer, holding a phone in his other hand, was simply using his middle finger to push back his shades.

“He’s just adjusting his glasses,” a rep for Jonas tells Gossip Cop, laughing off The Insider’s attempt to spark controversy.
