Jodie Sweetin Dances On “Ellen DeGeneres Show,” Opens Up About Addiction (VIDEO)
Jodie Sweetin danced a samba on Monday’s “The Ellen DeGeneres Show,” and also opened up about her struggles with addiction. Watch below.
Sweetin was joined on the talk show by her “Dancing with the Stars” partner Keo Motsepe. With the pro dancer sitting on the couch next to her, the actress shared, “We’re halfway through the season now, and I’m surprised at how often I cry. I’ve cried like every week. I’m crying I’m happy, I’m crying I’m sad. I think mostly I’m crying because I’m just tired.”
The “Fuller House” star has discussed her addiction issues during the competition, and told DeGeneres, “I’m kind of only as sick as my secrets. The only things that can really hold me back are the things that I don’t share. I think in sharing our stories — we all have struggles and things that we’ve been through and things that aren’t easy for us.”
“And I think when we share those with each other,” Sweetin continued, “that sort of brings the humanity out in all of us.” She and Motsepe went on to dance a samba routine for the audience, but it’s unclear when the appearance was filmed.
As Gossip Cop reported, Sweetin injured her foot during a “DWTS” rehearsal last Thursday, and was taken to the hospital. It hasn’t been said whether she’s a go to dance on Monday night’s live show, though she does quite well in the DeGeneres clip. Check out the video below!
