Jodie Sweetin Joins “Dancing With The Stars” Season 22 — Watch Announcement!
Jodie Sweetin is joining “Dancing with the Stars” for season 22, it was announced on Wednesday’s “Good Morning America.” Watch below!
After giving clues on “GMA” all morning, Robin Roberts finally said the person would be making “Dancing with the Stars” a “full house,” and out walked Sweetin. The actress explained that she had been asked to be a part of the ABC ballroom competition in years past but had a “huge scheduling conflict.” But now she’s ready to put on those dancing shoes.
“I’ve always loved to dance. Stephanie was a dancer [on ‘Full House’] growing up. I danced growing up,” Sweetin shared. “I definitely don’t call myself a professional, but I have some experience. I have some rhythm, so I think I’ll be okay.”
And though the former child star did some impressive moves with Val Chmerkovskiy on one of the new “Fuller House” episodes, she announced that she’s actually paired with Keo Motsepe. Sweetin, who is experiencing a career comeback thanks to “Fuller House,” is following in the footsteps of co-star Candace Cameron Bure. As Gossip Cop reported at the time, she and partner Mark Ballas placed third on season 18 back in 2014.
Sweetin is the first cast member to be revealed for the upcoming season, which premieres on March 21. Next Tuesday, the rest of the stars will be unveiled. Check out the video below!
