Joan Rivers Alleged “Last Recording” Audio Is FAKE
A purported “final recording” of Joan Rivers is a complete fraud.
Earlier this week, certain gullible outlets posted an audio clip of a woman complaining about her voice and feeling like “sh*t” while doing a test promotional spot for an upcoming off-Broadway show called “My Son the Water, a Jewish Tragedy.”
But it appears to be nothing more than a craven publicity stunt on the part of the people behind the production — because that is NOT Rivers on the audio.
The late comedian’s spokesperson called the tape a “fraud,” noting she never made that recording.
Moreover, the rep called it a “publicity stunt” by Brad Zimmerman, the guy behind the show, and said it was “disrespectful” to Rivers’ memory.
Rivers died earlier this month after an outpatient procedure on her vocal chords went wrong.
