Joan Rivers is currently being treated at Mount Sinai Hospital in New York after being rushed from a doctor’s office when she went into cardiac arrest during a procedure.

The 81-year-old’s condition has not been officially updated as of now.

She had reportedly been listed as “critical,” with some outlets saying Rivers has since been upgraded to “stable.”

Sid Dinsay, a spokesperson for Mount Sinai, has released the following statement:

“This morning, Joan Rivers was taken to The Mount Sinai Hospital in New York, where she is being attended to. Her family wants to thank everybody for their outpouring of love and support. We will provide an update on her condition as it becomes available.”

As Gossip Cop reported, shortly after 9:30 a.m., an emergency call was placed from the outpatient facility where Rivers had gone for a procedure. She’d reportedly stopped breathing.

Rivers’ daughter and frequent on-screen partner Melissa immediately boarded a plane for New York. The busy comedian, who hosts “Fashion Police,” was scheduled to perform on Friday in Red Bank, New Jersey. Gossip Cop will have updates.
