Jimmy Kimmel Pitches Horse Pants On Shark Tank (VIDEO)
Jimmy Kimmel visited “Shark Tank” with a great business idea: horse pants! The late-night host and his sidekick Guillermo showed what happened with their pitch to entrepreneurial gurus on Monday’s “Jimmy Kimmel Live.”
“Shark Tank” judges and potential investors Mark Cuban, Barbara Corcoran, Lori Greiner, Robert Herjavec and Kevin O’Leary heard Kimmel’s terrifying story about visiting a petting zoo with his family, only to discover that all of the animals were naked. To correct this problem, the comedian designed “the future of equine fashion.”
Horse pants, modeled during the pitch by Kimmel’s business partner Buttercup, will be available in a business-casual look, as well as cargo shorts and Spanx. Kimmel’s plan is clear. There is a huge population of horses, and none of them currently wear pants, meaning his potential customer base is huge. He has everything: a logo, lots of fancy charts, and a mother who churns out horse pants in the basement.
Kimmel asked for a 10 percent investment of $500,000 on making his amazing idea a reality. Did the sharks bite on this lucrative opportunity? Or will naked, pantsless horses continue to roam free, scaring families?
