Jimmy Kimmel Asks Pedestrians: “Is President Obama A Muslim?” (VIDEO)
Jimmy Kimmel asked random people on Hollywood Boulevard if they believed President Barack Obama was a Muslim on Wednesday’s “Jimmy Kimmel Live. It was all part of a recurring segment called “Pedestrian Question.” Watch the funny video below!
Kimmel’s “Pedestrian Question” bit has a reporter venture out onto the streets of Hollywood to poll people about a particular topic. The host then plays the clips for his studio audience, which has to guess what the person answered based on their appearance and where they’re from. Kimmel revealed that 54 percent of Republicans still think that Obama is a Muslim, so he wanted to find out what the average citizen believes.
A young woman from Westlake Village, California was up first. The audience was split on what her answer would be, but it turned out she did not believe Obama was a Muslim. However, “My dad would say yes,” she revealed. Next up was a man wearing a baseball hat with a Marines logo on it. Just about everyone in the audience thought he would say “Yes,” and they were correct.
But if there’s anything we learned from this newest “Pedestrian Question” segment, it’s to not judge a book by its cover. Additional citizens to be polled included two African American men, a man with a deep southern accent, and a middle-age woman wearing a red, white, and blue colored shirt. The results may surprise you.
