WATCH: Jimmy Kimmel Calls Out Online Commenters Who Criticized Friends Reunion Skit!
Jimmy Kimmel used his opening monologue on Thursday’s “Jimmy Kimmel Live” to slam the online commenters who accused him of ambushing Jennifer Aniston with a “Friends” reunion skit during her Wednesday appearance on his show.
For those who missed the amazing bit, the late night host “forced” Aniston and surprise guests Courteney Cox and Lisa Kudrow to act out a “Friends” script that he had written.
Kimmel couldn’t believe how many people went online to bash him for being a bad person and accuse Aniston of being a poor sport when they were clearly acting.
The comedian didn’t hold back his frustrations, and even went as far as sharing his Internet haters’ usernames when he read their comments.
“I am puzzled by this I have to say. Because 99 percent of the time you put something on YouTube and everyone jumps in to say it’s fake,” he said. “Then we put something that I think is obviously fake on, and people think it’s real.”
