Jimmy Kimmel and John Cusack took shots of hand sanitizer on Tuesday’s “Jimmy Kimmel Live.”

Earlier in the show, Kimmel had discussed a disturbing new trend involving teens drinking the germ-busting substance in order to get drunk, thanks to its high ethyl alcohol content.

But when guest Cusack came out later in the show, he suggested the two kick things off by tasting the gooey stuff for themselves.

And so, Cusack and Kimmel squirted some Purell straight into their mouths.
