Jimmy Kimmel Parodies Caitlyn Jenner Vanity Fair With Donald Trump “Call Me Donna” Cover — WATCH VIDEO
Jimmy Kimmel spoofed Caitlyn Jenner’s Vanity Fair cover on Tuesday’s “Jimmy Kimmel Live,” joking that Donald Trump’s upcoming announcement should be that he’s transitioning to “Donna Trump.” “That how you give Hillary Clinton a run for her money!” Kimmel exclaimed. Watch the video below.
During his monologue, Kimmel observed that Trump had posted a “very enticing” video to his Instagram account earlier this week, in which the mogul teased he was going to announce something on June 16. “So his announcement was that there’s going to be an announcement,” quipped an amused Kimmel.
But while many predict that Trump will be announce that he’s seeking the Republican nomination for president, Kimmel had his own ideas. “I think it would be more fun if he was going to announce this,” said the comic, before showing a parody Jenner’s Vanity Fair issue. The magazine cover had Trump’s face superimposed onto Jenner’s body, with the magazine title now Vanity Hair.
And, instead of the cover line reading “Call me Caitlyn,” as Jenner’s does, it said “Call me Donna.” Kimmel joked, “Wouldn’t that be something?” The host also did another spoof, playing off Jenner’s name and “The Bachelorette” star Kaitlyn Jenner, and showing how the ABC promo department might get confused. As Gossip Cop reported, the TV personality previously made cracks about Jenner’s Vanity Fair debut on Monday’s show. Check out the videos below, and tell us what you think of his latest joke.
