Jimmy Fallon Asks Super Bowl Fans About ‘Scooter Pole,’ Other Crazy Names (VIDEO)
Jimmy Fallon sent out his “Tonight Show” writer Arthur to talk to people in Arizona about Sunday’s “Super Bowl.” Except Arthur didn’t actually ask about the “Super Bowl.” He asked about the “Scooter Pole.” And the “Sewer Hole.” And a bunch of other nonsense phrases that kind of sound like “Super Bowl,” and that the pedestrians happily talked about without correcting him. Watch the video below!
“How excited are you for the Strudel Roll?” Arthur asks one Seattle Seahawks fan. “Which team do you think will win the Marsupial?” he asks another bystander. Arthur wonders whether one New England Patriots supporter has “any bets going on the Jewish Troll.” “Pooper Hole.” “Skoopity Boop Boop.” You get the idea. It’s fun! Watch the video below, and tell us what you think.
Meanwhile, Fallon’s special post-Super Bowl broadcast of the “Tonight Show” also featured a memorable Lip Sync Battle between Will Ferrell and Kevin Hart. Ferrell sang Beyonce’s “Drunk In Love” and the Frozen anthem “Let It Go.” Hart performed John Legend’s “All Of Me” and Katy Perry’s “Roar.” And Fallon followed up Kelly Clarkson’s “Since U Been Gone” with the Dirty Dancing classic “I’ve Had The Time Of My Life,” helped by Drew Barrymore.
