Jimmy Fallon Jumps Into Freezing Lake Michigan For Charity With Chicago Mayor Rahm Emanuel (VIDEO)
Jimmy Fallon jumped into Chicago’s freezing Lake Michigan on Sunday morning, all in the name of charity.
The “Tonight Show” host, dressed in a suit and tie, joined Chicago Mayor Rahm Emanuel in the icy waters as part of the city’s “Polar Plunge,” which raises money for the Special Olympics.
Fallon promised to take part in the annual event in exchange for Emanuel appearing on his talk show.
Before running into the water, Fallon cracked to the crowd, “If you hear a scream like a little girl’s … know that Jimmy Fallon is swimming in Lake Michigan.”
After taking the plunge, Fallon rushed out of the water and put on a red Special Olympics sweatshirt (see below).
