Jimmy Fallon is no stranger to mashing up sports phenomena and music figures, so it was only a matter of time before the “Late Night” host decided to sing a Jeremy Lin tribute as Pearl Jam’s Eddie Vedder.

Updating the band’s classic “Jeremy” for the Linsanity now sweeping the NBA, Fallon growled his way through some pretty amusing lyrics about the New York Knicks’ unexpected star and revival.

(Sadly, Thursday’s Fallon/”Vedder” performance was not enough to help Lin and the Knicks from losing to the Heat in Miami.)
