Jimmy Fallon Opens First Tonight Show Monologue With Jokes About Himself And Olympics – WATCH HERE!
Jimmy Fallon opened his first monologue on the “Tonight Show” on Monday with jokes about being the new host.
“I’ll be you host… for now,” cracked Fallon, who thanked previous hosts, including “Johnny Carson, Jay Leno, Conan O’Brien, and Jay Leno.”
He then pointed out his parents in the audience before apologizing, “I wish I could have gotten you better seats.”
Fallon also introduced his band The Roots and announcer Steve Higgins.
Before jumping into his real monologue about the Olympics, Fallon said, “I just want to do the best I can, and stick around for a while.”
The new “Tonight Show” host also noted the show’s opening montage was shot by Spike Lee.
And there’s much more.
