Shia LaBeouf has attacked Jim Carrey on Twitter after the comedic actor joked about LaBeouf’s plagiarism scandal while onstage at Sunday’s Golden Globes.

During the ceremony, Carrey quipped, “‘Dying is easy. Comedy is hard.’ I believe it was Shia LaBeouf who said that. So young, so wise.”

Apparently, the joke got under LaBeouf’s skin.

“If you explain @JimCarrey you’ve killed him, Nobody knows if it’s for real or not. That way he’s immortal,” tweeted the Transformers star.

He then sent out a link to a music video by Jane Carrey Band — fronted by Jim’s daughter.

LaBeouf commented, “At least I don’t get arrested for indecency on major LA highways! Or abandon love child’s.”

Then, as is his habit these days, LaBeouf apologized.

“Jim Carrey states that he is deeply involved in his daughter’s life – I accept that, regret tweet on the matter,” said the young actor. “Apologies to both parents.”

And so the LaBeouf Saga continues.
