Jim Carrey: Elin Nordegren was “Willing Participant” in Tiger Woods Secrets

An unlikely candidate is weighing in on Elin Nordegren‘s troubled marriage to Tiger Woods.

Jim Carrey, who announced his breakup with Jenny McCarthy over Twitter just days ago, has now used the service to suggest that Nordegren must have known about Woods’ multiple affairs before a Thanksgiving accident brought his scandalous behavior to light.

“No wife is blind enough to miss that much infidelity,” tweets Carrey. “Elin had 2 b a willing participant on the ride 4 whatever reason. kids/lifestyle ;^)”

Carrey’s comments have raised eyebrows and divided commenters on whether he’s right that Nordegren knew about her husband’s extramarital sex life and chose to be a “willing participant.”

    I do find it difficult to believe that somebody could be cheated on by their husband, who slept with like 10 different women continuously. Especially if she had access to his cellphone and the other women’s names and phone numbers. But, having said that, we don’t know the truth behind how many women Tiger cheated with. It could have only been one – and these other women are along for the celebrity ride.

    Even if it was 10 women and I found it hard to believe Elin didn’t know about it – it’s not my place to say anything on whether or not Elin participated. Just like it isn’t Jim Carrey’s place.

    I’m kind of surprised he said this. He doesn’t seem like the type to involve himself in other people’s drama.

    Everyone has put their 2 sense into dis tiger situation..even ME.. 2 hear jim say sumthin is kind of surprising but nothin 2 get all worked up for. Whether elin knew or not she’s dumb 4 still being with him.. It wasn’t just one time; tiger knew what he was doing. He’s not a baby. With that sex addict bullcrap..plz. More like a cheating addiction.

    So if you have a say in Elin’s life, can we have one on your break up?… It works that way, right?… You receive what you give…
    Like saying something like: “Interesting that he’s now breaking up… after tweeting last valentine’s (not even 2 months ago) this: “Jenny my Love, you’ve stolen my heart, my soul and of course anything you find in my pants,”… makes us wonder if your asking back your heart, your soul, and your pants content… or if what she found wasn’t that valuable…”…
    Doesn’t feel nice, right Carrey?… So, STFU!… Leave this woman with her life… she’s trying to move on, and you’re not helping…

    I think she might have to know something. Anything. They have been married long enough for her to trust her womans intuition. Something does not smell right. I will however leve it to them to fix as all I want is for Tiger to play Golf. He is doing well.

    I’ve thought from the start of this “scandal” that she had to have known something was going on. I honestly believe that she knew he wasn’t faithful but let it go on because of who he was. He couldn’t let something like that ruin his “image”. And she wouldn’t do anything to potentially stop the cash from rolling in. I think she just got pissed when it was about to go public. So in a way, I agree with Jim.

    Honestly, I know that some women kinda have the mentality that if he is going home to them at night, then it doesn’t matter how many women they are sleeping with during the day. What I find interesting is that Jim feels like he has to weigh in on it NOW, almost 4 months after it happened. Makes me wonder if the reason that he broke up with Jenny was infidelity on either his or her part, and then someone got mad when it was discovered. That is really what his post, at this time, says to me.

    Alayean, thanks for bringing this back to what it should be about: JIM CARREY being an ASSSHAT who wants to increase his twitter followers on the back of a mother of two whose been thru the kind of nightmarish hell I can only imagine, in the media and out. In short, Carrey’s a pantywaist for kicking her in the head – but at it’s heart, it’s some kind of deep-seated pathological slam at their marriage.

    My guess is, Jenny was so gracious, and flattering and almost worshipful in her twitter sayonara to this buttmunch, that I fugure she’s the one that took a powder.

    Not saying she cheated, but when Carrey’s kind of crazy is what you’re waking up to every day – would anyone blame her? I’m surprised she lasted this long.

    To all those getting worked over what Jim said: Shut up, calm down, and get a life!

    This is such a none issue. EVERYONE has had a say on this… including those of you bashing Jim for speaking his mind. So stop acting self-righteous. And don’t think you’re doing any justice by bringing Tiger’s kids into this. You’re only making their lives worse by constantly speaking them up. If you want the children to be left alone, SHUT UP ABOUT THEM!!

    Look, the whole Tiger situation is/was unfortunate but seriously, the whole thing was blown out of proportion. I can’t believe the amount of outcry there has been over it. Like everyone else, Tiger is human. He has real life issues like you and I. I’m not excusing his behavior but he’s human. He owed no one but his wife and kids an apology. NO ONE ELSE!!!

    Lara, when you are done breathing into a paper bag, read the post again and you may realize that the problem is with Jim saying that Elin was COMPLICIT in the affairs and not innocent. He has no evidence. The woman was distressed enough to attack her husband in anger and move out of the home. He missed the child’s first birthday. These are likely not the actions of a woman who knew about the infidelities and stayed for the money.

    I stand behind Jim Carrey, he said what he said, and he is intitled to his own opinion.
    Women do tend to look the other way at times, depending on the situation.. like he said for whatever reason… for the sake of the kids, or just not wanting to bother with seperation because of money matters or what have you.
    us women are strong that way, we choose to ignore what we have to at times to get by.. to make it work for us and for the sake of our kids… THINK, perhaps she wanted/chose to look the other way to save her children from embarrassment t… well now it’s all out and knocking Jim Carrey and bringing it out in the world that Jim Carrey is such a bad boy for saying what he thinks and feels about things.. is all wrong? it is them comments that’s going to be hard on the children!
    I’d say he is not knocking her personally by stating his own opinion about the posibilty that she could of just looked the other way..
    and I love Jim Carrey for who he is, and what he is..and especially for speaking his thoughts to the world of twitter followers.. makes him ‘down to earth’ so now you think he should shut up and not speak?
