Jewel Says She’s “Banged Up” and Thanks Her Cadillac For Saving Her Life

Jewel took to Twitter today to say she and her unborn baby are doing okay after her two-car crash yesterday.

The singer said her doctor told her to “take it easy this weekend,” and noted she ‘s “a little sore and banged up – but feeling so blessed this morning.”

She added, “1 thing I do know is my car saved my & baby’s life-definitely going 2 get another Cadillac SRX! It absorbed all the damage & kept me safe!”

This isn’t the first time Jewel has sung the carmaker’s praises – she has a song called “V-12 Cadillac.”
