Jewel is having a boy!

The couple waited to find out their baby’s sex before decorating the child’s room in their 2,200-acre ranch in Texas.

“We would have been happy either way, of course, but we are so excited to be 
having a little boy,” Jewel told People.

Just three weeks ago, the singer and her husband, rodeo champ Ty Murray, announced they were expecting for the first time.

Jewel and Murray were married in 2008.

She is co-hosting the upcoming new Bravo reality series “Platinum Hit” with Kara DioGuardi.
