Jessica Simpson‘s daughter Maxwell is just one week old, but the new mom is already head over heels for her little one.

“I am so in love with baby Maxwell,” Simpson tweeted late Tuesday, her first comments since Maxwell’s birth last week.

The singer, who said she wants “to cry every time I look at her,” went on to call motherhood “by far the best thing I’ve ever experienced.”

    can you blame her for feeling that way about being a mom I remember reading that Natasha Richardson said the same thing after each of her sons were born or Heather Mills said it after her & Paul McCartney’s daughter Beatrice Milly was born.
