Jessica Simpson Tell-All Tale Not True

According to the upper right-hand corner of this week’s Star magazine cover, the weekly tab claims that Jessica Simpson is writing a “$5M Kiss & Tell!” and that she’s going to “dish on her exes.”
The reported motivation?
“Being dumped by Tony [Romo] was the final straw for Jessica – that’s what made her decide to write a book and reveal everything she has gone through in the name of love,” says a so-called Simpson friend.
That same ‘source’ says, “Jessica has been through so much pain and heartbreak with the men in her life and often thought about writing it.” Star notes that she is also going to dish about her ex-husband Nick Lachey and John Mayer.
First of all, the article is completely bogus. And her rep even told Gossip Cop, “Not a word of it is true.”
But not content to leave bad enough alone, Star has the same “friend” saying that the singer’s father, Joe Simpson, “has spoken to a number of publishers on her behalf and received a lot of interest. He’s sure they could make $5 million easily.”
If he makes any money related to a book story, it will be from a lawsuit. Gossip Cop hears that the Simpsons have contacted lawyers about suing Star.
