Jessica Simpson “Sick at Sea” Report Goes Queasy on the Facts

According to Us Weekly, on October 1 Jessica Simpson visited the troops aboard the USS Harry S. Truman in the Persian Gulf, but got sick after she “flew in on a helicopter and had three Red Bulls but no water” in the scorching heat.
Us Weekly reports Simpson, who was there to entertain the troops, “only sang one song, then vomited” before halting her performance.
Well, part of it is true.
Simpson did get sick, much the way the majority of the troops do at some point because of the inhospitable climate.
But…
(1) She was never on a helicopter.
(2) She didn’t drink a single Red Bull.
(3) She got sick before she sang, and then went on to perform her entire show for the good men and women in uniform.
