Jessica Simpson NOT Pregnant, Despite Claim
Jessica Simpson is not pregnant again, despite a wholly manufactured tabloid report. Gossip Cop can exclusively correct this made-up claim. We’re told she’s not expecting a third baby.
According to OK!, “Simpson sparked pregnancy rumors after she arrived to LAX sporting a fuller figure.” After the tabloid notes again that she had a “bulging bump,” it veers off topic a bit to allege she’s “expanding her family on the heels of cheating allegations regarding her husband of two years, Eric Johnson, and the family’s nanny.” The unreliable publication then claims that a few months ago, Johnson and the family’s blonde nanny “slipped away for some alone time” during a hike with his and Simpson’s kids and “disappeared into the bushes for two hours.”
It’s hard to decide where to begin when debunking this complete fabrication. For starters, the tabloid wrongly writes “Simpson sparked pregnancy rumors.” It was the magazine itself that began the rumor with its talk of her “fuller figure” and “bulging bump.” And since the outlet doesn’t have sources or any other proof to back up its contention that Simpson is pregnant again, it switched topics to untruthfully claim Johnson was “cheating” some time ago with their children’s nanny.
But it’s all a lie. As Gossip Cop exclusively reported in April, Johnson never cheated with the nanny, as previously alleged by OK! in cover story that also wrongly alleged he and Simpson were in the midst of a “$175 million divorce.” But more on point, Simpson is not “expanding her family” with a third child. A mutual friend of Gossip Cop and Simpson exclusively assures us she is “definitely not pregnant.”
Of course, we’re not surprised the publication seemingly fabricated this article. Just four months ago, Gossip Cop busted the tabloid when it falsely reported Simpson was pregnant again. Similarly, we also corrected the outlet when it inaccurately claimed in a 2014 cover story that Simpson was pregnant with her third baby. Once again, the only thing that’s fertile here are the imaginations of the magazine’s writers.
