Jessica Simpson is Not Pregnant

If tabs fixated on facts with a quarter of the intensity they use to obsess over celebrity bodies, they could probably break some actual news.

“There’s a wonderful baby secret behind Jessica Simpson‘s recent weight gain!” gushes the National Enquirer.

Oh, boy (or girl).

This ought to be good.

Sources tell the tabloid that Simpson is “sporting a happy glow” because she’s “actively trying to conceive” with new boyfriend Eric Johnson.

Wait, she has the “glow” of pregnancy… but might not actually be pregnant? We’re starting to get confused.

Simpson’s “friends” helpfully inform the Enquirer that she “may already be pregnant.”

Um, she “may” be pregnant?

“It looks like Jessica’s dream of having a baby and family is finally coming true,” says a “close friend.”

“She always said she wants to be settled down and pregnant by the time she was 30,” adds the source later. “Now, for the first time in a long time, she’s incredibly happy and in love.”

OK, so according to Enquirer logic, because Simpson is 30 years old and in love… she’s biologically required to be pregnant. And the tabloid acts as though she is, describing physical changes and the singer’s recent pattern of “eating for two.”

In fact, the Enquirer claims, during a recent dinner in New York, Simpson “further tipped her baby plans by not drinking any alcohol.”

The magazine should really stick to a blurry understanding of medicine, because its attempts to include actual details often go haywire.

A source close to Simpson tells Gossip Cop the star actually did happen to drink wine while dining in New York — and that there is no truth whatsoever to the Enquirer‘s baby babbling.

Once again, the mag is “cribbing” from the wrong places.

    What makes me laugh about most of her pics by the paparazzi is that they have been altered or at bad angles. Why do they do this? This is to label her or brand her on a continuous theme. They want to stick their “awful” fingers in something that is good and spoil it. Just can’t stand to see something going right. They are the cause of a lot of hate out there. The thing is that she has always been curvaceous even when she was much smaller during the Dukes of Hazzard era. That is the way God made her. I am glad she is sticking to her gun and pay those “stupid” tabloids no attention whatsoever. Jess, one thing they can’t do and that is erase your natural beauty inside and out. And above all, continue as you are. Don’t let those “criminals” in the media define you. You are indeed setting a a great role model for the young as well as the old. We your fans get you and know what you are about. May God bless you.

    These tabloids are so stupid. Just because Jessica is curvaceous means she must be either pregnant or trying to get pregnant. It’s the same with X17 went on and on for weeks about Jennifer Garner supposedly having a baby bump and had to be pregnant. Surprise surprise, no she’s not. The biggest problem Jessica has is she dosen’t seem to know how to dress her body. Half her outfits make her look bigger then she actually is. She needs a stylist is all.

    It’s not her outfits half the times. They always make it appear that way. You would have to keep up with her continuously to know that. The pics are at wrong angles + they alter the pics. This is building hate and this is what the tabs, and paps are doing. I hope God destroy all of them.

    I feel awful saying that I hope God would destroy the paps and tabs. They seem to me like “Hell” on earth. Those people who do that will answer to God… watch because it’s wrong. I happen to like her clothes. I see nothing wrong with them.

    Then I have seen thousands of pics of her lately. SHE IS NOT PREGNANT. People can believe those crazy tabloids if you want but I would “die” first.
