A new report wrongly speculates that Jessica Simpson is pregnant with her third child because she was allegedly sporting a “baby bump” at her friend’s wedding. Gossip Cop, however, can exclusively debunk this bogus theory.

“Pregnant With Baby #3? Jessica Simpson Shows Off Tell-Tale Bump In Tight Dress,” blares a new RadarOnline headline. The singer attended the nuptials of hairstylist Christine Symond in Palm Springs this past weekend, and now the webloid purports that she “appeared much larger in the middle” based on photos from the event.

Without a single source to back up its claim, the site goes on to say that Simpson “shunned alcohol” at the wedding despite her supposed penchant “to throw back cocktails.” The repeatedly discredited site goes on to purport that the pop star “even rubbed her stomach while chatting with husband Eric Johnson and friends.” The outlet then quotes a doctor, who hasn’t treated Simpson, as saying she “looks at least three months along.” It should be noted, this diagnosis is based on murky paparazzi pictures that were shot from many yards away.

But Gossip Cop checked in with a mutual pal of ours and Simpson, who exclusively assures us she simply isn’t pregnant. RadarOnline should know that examining a woman’s midriff in amateurishly-taken photos isn’t the best way to determine if she’s with child. Unfortunately, this isn’t the first time the webloid has tried to arbitrarily impregnate the singer.

Gossip Cop busted the site last December for wrongly reporting that Simpson was pregnant with her third child. Obviously, that wasn’t the case. One month prior, we called out RadarOnline’s sister publication, the National Enquirer, for falsely claiming Simpson was both pregnant and having marriage trouble. Of course, there’s still no third baby and she’s still happily married. This latest speculation about a “baby bump” is equally baseless.
