Jessica Simpson, Eric Johnson Shunned By Friends For “Over-The-Top PDA”?
Jessica Simpson and her husband Eric Johnson are NOT being shunned by their friends for their supposed “over-the-top PDA,” despite a bogus tabloid report. Gossip Cop can exclusively bust this claim. We’re told it’s “not true.”
According to OK!, Simpson and Johnson’s close pals are tired of their alleged “obnoxious” and “antisocial behavior.” A so-called “source” tells the magazine that friends think Johnson is “boring and self-absorbed.” The tabloid’s “insider” further claims the couple will “just start making out in the middle of a party” and it makes everyone uncomfortable.
The outlet’s questionable source goes on to say, “They think it’s cute and sexy, but it’s actually just awkward and off-putting.” The “insider” then alleges that even Simpson’s sister, Ashlee, is reluctant to invite her and Johnson to events, adding, “No one wants to deal with their antics.”
But Gossip Cop checked in with a source close to the couple, who laughed off the tabloid’s claim before assuring us it’s “not true.” The singer and her husband don’t get inappropriately intimate with each other in public, and the magazine’s entire story is simply made-up.
Unfortunately, we’re not surprised the tabloid would fabricate this story. Gossip Cop recently busted OK! for falsely alleging Simpson demands free drinks at bars. And shortly before that, we called out the outlet for wrongly reporting Simpson was pregnant again. This latest article about the singer and her husband’s supposed “PDA” is equally untrue.
