MAG: Jessica Simpson’s World “Destroyed” By Parents’ Alleged Split

“Jessica Heartbroken: Her Family Destroyed,” blares the cover of OK!, which claims Jessica Simpson’s parents are separating and that she’s “devastated” over their supposed split.

The mag, picking up a weeks-old report from the National Enquirer (never a wise idea), says Tina and Joe Simpson’s marriage is “on the rocks,” with Tina allegedly “living alone in Malibu.”

OK! notes, “Jessica had been hoping for a reconciliation, but now her mother is pushing harder for a formal separation.”

A so-called “insider” for the tabloid claims the 32-year-old Simpson is now “feeling emotionally abandoned” due to her parents’ purported split.

The “source” goes on to allege, “She has always been hugely dependent on her parents, but they are going through their own crisis right now, which means they don’t have much time for her.”

“It’s left Jessica feeling sad and helpless,” explains the supposed insider.

The magazine goes on to claim that Tina and Joe’s reported split has wreaked havoc on Simpson’s entire life, saying that “her emotional eating is out of control” (B.S.); that her sister Ashlee has “deserted her” (FALSE); and that she’s now “gotten cold feet” about marrying fiancé Eric Johnson (NOT TRUE).

Of course, all of this is complete nonsense as Simpson’s parents have NOT broken up.

A family insider tells Gossip Cop the tab’s tale is 100% fabricated and that Tina and Joe Simpson are still together, but acknowledges there are “problems” between the spouses.

    the tabs will do anything for a buck. break up rumors sell papers. the tabs used to do this to Newman & Woodward all the time back in the day and they ended up married nearly 51 years when he passed away 4 years ago. Joe and Tina have been married 34

    GC, it is well know that Joe and Tine are not together and haven’t been for a while. As for the rest I have no idea but her parents are not together. Of course their reps aren’t going to comment yet.

    So what if Joe and Tina are separating? What does that have to do with Jess… they all are grown people. They are making her the victim of it. They are trying to put her down for what her parents would do. Her world doesn’t have to fall apart because of that. That article is just made up Shi+ and you know it. You are a stinking hater who is probably one of their scouts who support them… trying to help them make money. Tell your tabloids that they are making themselves look pretty stupid and to quit with her. You sound low-class.

    You sound stupid just like the tabloids because when you are stuck in the past, it blinds you for seeing the future. You need to advance yourself ahead some 7 years. It’s a shame the way this world thinks. The tabloids are responsible for it too. They know that they can influence these people with an IQ of 25.

    She is a grown up with her own family to worry about. Her parents’ state of marriage should have no effect on what is happening in her own family. Yes it would be sad if they divorced, but it is not the end of the world and certainly should not be the cause of damage in her own life.
