Jessica Simpson Parents Divorcing

Jessica Simpson’s mom Tina has filed for divorce from the star’s dad Joe, a rep confirms to Gossip Cop.

They have been married for 34 years.

“It is an amicable split and there is no third party involved,” the rep tells Gossip Cop in a statement. “Any other related allegations are completely false. The family appreciates your respect for their privacy at this time.”

The documents were filed in McLennan County, Texas on September 24.

Joe and Tina are also parents to Ashlee Simpson.

    I always found him creepy after his comments on the size of his daughters “puppies”. Doesn’t he know that fathers don’t like to acknowledge their daughters puberty.

    I don’t think that it’s fair to just have Jess in the pic with her parents. Ashlee should be in the title and pic also. I hope haters, those awful paparazzi and tabloids will give her family privacy and stop badgering Jess about something that is beyond her control because they all are adults. Leave Jess alone about this. Tabloids and others have been trying to break this family up for the longest. This is a sad example that celebrities and their families should move out of Hollywood and anywhere close to it. I bet if they weren’t anywhere near Hollywood, they would still be together. Hollywood is a sinful place to live anywhere near. I hope all celebrities just move away from it. To me, it is sad that they let this happen to them after being together so long, but if it was meant to be, then it was meant to be. Please give them peace, and especially Jess who has been badgered by the media too long, too often, and too much.
