Jessica Simpson “Deeply Saddened” Over Nick Lachey Engagement?

PopEater reports that Jessica Simpson was “sad” to hear the news of Nick Lachey and Vanessa Minnillo‘s engagement.

According to a so-called “friend” of Simpson, “Even though Jessica wants to be happy for Nick, this is a very difficult time for her… She’s deeply saddened.”

Really?

NO.

Simpson, who’s happily dating former NFL player Eric Johnson, is not remotely “sad.”

A source close to the singer/actress assures Gossip Cop, “She’s perfectly fine” with the engagement news. She’s “not sad.”

In fact, I can only speak for myself , but I know and hope that there are others who wish them the same…. Jess’ TRUE fans are really HAPPY that Nick and Vanessa are finally getting married. We are TOO HAPPY that JESS and ERIC are together to even worry about them. It’s about time for them to tie the knot. We are over joyed with happiness, at least the ones I know. Much happiness to them and to Eric and Jess.

I think its time everyone moved on & just let these couples be. It was over 4 years ago. Anyone that has been married & divorced knows the feeling.
There will always be an attachement. You don’t hate but it just didn’t work. You wish each other well & move forward.
Jessica seems to have a great man in her life right now & that is wonderful. Nick & Vanessa rode the storm of there relationship & want to move forward.
ts time to let go of the NICK & Jessica relationship people.
