Jessica Simpson’s mom has moved in to her and Eric Johnson’s Beverly Hills home to help care for baby Maxwell, reports Star, which claims the couple’s new roommate is driving Johnson “nuts.”

According to a “source” for the tab, Tina Simpson “has completely taken over — bathing, feeding and rocking the baby to sleep — and even ordering Eric to cook for her and Jess.”

Johnson supposedly “had no idea Tina was planning to stay with them for so long after the baby came,” adds the alleged insider.

Sure, because Simpson just invited her mom to move in for an indefinite period of time without telling her fiancé.

Anyway, the mag goes on to claim that things got so tense between Mrs. Simpson and Johnson that he finally “had a blowup with Tina.”

“He told her to leave them alone so they could bond with their new baby,” says the alleged source, who adds, “But Tina said Jessica needed help and she was staying.”

Now, Jessica is “trapped in the middle” of the feud, says the tab’s insider, explaining, “She loves Eric and wants him to be happy, but she needs all the help and advice her mother can give.”

Whoa, that sounds like a pretty stressful situation for Simpson.

Fortunately for the singer, it’s all made up.

A family insider tells Gossip Cop the tab’s story is “not true at all” – Tina Simpson has absolutely NOT moved in with the couple.

    Wow, I actually feel kinda bad for her. She has a beautiful baby girl, must be on top of the world, and within a few weeks people are already making up crap about her family and loved ones. Hope she shakes it off and enjoys spending time with her daughter!!!

    Believe me, she is use to it. It has been happening for years. She has a family and friends who are use to it too. You can’t let the negative in life get you down. All the steam blown is jealousy, hatred and unhappiness of the world. You can’t let them draw you into it. They will all get it back. There are nice, considerate people out there also who send wonderful, positive vibes in the atmosphere of this world. What you put out into the world will come back to you in a personal way. I guarantee you that I have experienced it all. I understand all that now. People should pay more attention to their own lives and they would know why things happen the way they do in their lives. They would realize that what they put out there, they are getting it all back. These lying tabloid writers, nasty bloggers, nasty paps and negative people who make negative comments, all have their day coming… I truly believe they are all miserable people right now.

    I so doubt this Jessica & her mom Tina are extremely close and by photos taken of them after Jessica’s first JS Collection runway show two weeks ago They’ve grown closer since Maxwell was born as a baby usually does. like Joanne Woodward and her mom Elinore grew closer after each of her daughters were born so much so that it was Joanne that took care of her when she was dying of Alzhiemers disease in the mid/late 1980′s. right Joanne’s oldest natural daughter is named Elinore Theresa was named after her mom and Paul’s mom but is most commonly called Nell.
