A few weeks ago Gossip Cop told you that Jessica Simpson and Billy Corgan were casually dating, but that their relationship was “not exclusive.”

Now we can confirm that while the duo is still making music professionally, a stronger romance never materialized.

The same Simpson insider who revealed to us back in December that they were seeing each other tells Gossip Cop that while she and Corgan were never serious, they are still “very, very close.”
