Jessica Simpson “Pregnant & Betrayed,” Claims Mag

“Jessica: Pregnant & Betrayed,” blares a sensationalized headline from In Touch, which claims Jessica Simpson’s world has been rocked by news that Eric Johnson’s ex-wife is writing a “tell-all book that could brand her a home wrecker.”

According to the tabloid, “Keri Johnson has a tell-all book in the works that reportedly will dish on the fact that Eric was still married when he first hooked up with Jessica.”

The mag alleges the “threat of Keri’s book” is casting a “new dark cloud” on Simpson’s family life, quoting a supposed “insider” as saying, “Jessica doesn’t want anyone to know all this about her.”

In Touch’s so-called “source” tattles, “If Jessica hadn’t come along, Eric and Keri would still be married.”

So, the tab’s sources can predict the future now? Impressive!

Anyway, the purported insider goes on to add, “Keri has always wanted to write a book about her divorce; that’s what she hasn’t talked or sold any photos… yet.”

Ooh, that sounds pretty ominous.

There’s just one thing wrong with this story.

Eric and Keri were were “100% separated when he met Jessica,” a source close to the situation tells Gossip Cop.

Therefore, there’s nothing in Keri’s alleged tell-all that could be threatening to Simpson, despite the mag’s salacious claims that the book is set to devastate the superstar.

    Separated is not divorced. Separated is what you do while considering if working things out is an option. It’s a lame thing to start a new relationship before the last one is finished. I’m sure there is some merit to what might come out in the open. PS…Reporters are not supposed to write their opinions, just report it.

    They had already filed for divorce before he met Jessica. Is that the actions of someone working on their marriage and who would be happily married to his ex if he hadn’t met someone new?

    ERIC left the home as per legal documents in OCT 2009, Keri filed papers in Feb 2010. Jessica met ERIC after papers were filed therefore the relationship with Keri & Eric was not retreivable & KERI filed & she knew it, Sounds more like Keri is looking for something monetary. Won’t happen.

    Well, many have done it. Once you both file, that means you both are getting ready to divide properties. A legal separation is in tact once you file.. pending a divorce. They evidently separated for a while to see if a divorce was needed to be filed and they did.
    Jessica Simpson met him after the divorce was filed.
    The strange thing about tabloids, they always want to blame Jessica Simpson for everything that happens. Maybe they ought to change their tactics. What are you working for a tabloid or a Jessica Simpson hater?

    Not only that, but Jessica said once that she was having a small gathering at her house, and a mutual friend of Jessica & Eric wanted to bring Eric, as a guest. Sounds to me like the friend knew that Eric was separated, and headed for divorce. So the friend did, what a lot of friends do, said “you need to get out….live a little….meet some new people” and invited him to Jessica’s party. Jessica knew and trusted her friend, so she allowed Eric to join in, not knowing anything about his life before.
    And if Jessica has soooo much power over a man, then why didn’t those other relationships last longerr? Why couldn’t she make “those guys stay.” If she has that kind of hold on men, then she wouldn’t have lost the others. “They” chose to go, and no amount of words or tears would make them stay!
    This Keri person, with her book, is just as bad as the tabloids. Nothing but salacious claims
    to help boost the sail of her book. She knows that the public cares more about jucie scandle, than they do about the truth! Tabloids lie all the time, and people eat them up!

    I also read somewhere that Eric was planning to move away and start some school, after the divorce. He only changed “those plans” after he met and grew closer to Jessica! If Jessica had’nt come into the picture, he’d still be gone.
