CLAIM: Jessica Simpson Forbids People From Swearing Around Her Womb

Truth rating: 0

Jessica Simpson is “warning friends and family not to cuss anywhere near her womb because she’s convinced her unborn kid can already hear and comprehend mega-filthy words,” begins a piece from the National Enquirer, in what has to be the most ridiculous story of the week.

A supposed “source” close to the singer claims, “Jessica is adamant that the baby sitting in her womb can hear everything around her, and she doesn’t want her tyke learning any curse words at such an early age!”

Wow.

The tabloid adds, “Anytime someone even so much as mutters a naughty word anywhere near her. Jessica fires a furious glare and screams: ‘Don’t swear in front of my baby!’”

Just… wow.

Where the @#&%?! did this nonsense come from?

In any case, a source close to Simpson tells Gossip Cop the report is just as “absurd” as it sounds.

she has a point I’ve heard that certain things can affect the fetus, like arguing, stress, music etc. maybe swear words will be meaningful to the baby, who knows what it will say when its born.

    I don’t believed this. Nonsense!

This can be a believable story, perhaps she’s trying to get people to not curse when the baby arrives.

I actually think this would be kind of cute, if it were true.
First off, you need to break the habit now, or you will continue to cuss and teach your kids bad words once they are born.
Furthurmore CHILDREN, before they are born, can still pick up on the general mood, and ideas of what is going on around them. It is possible that the child will give those words a bad connotation and use them as it ages. Much of the miracle that happens in utero is still poorly understood. I for one, would prefer to be cautious and not do anything that could harm my baby, before or after it’s born

This actually would be cute if it were true! Babies in the womb can hear tone of voice or get to recognize a particular voice that they hear quite often and come to associate a feeling with it (their mother’s voice generally relaxes them and makes them feel comfortable and if the father talks to them too, his voice can be a comfort too). Although, it is widely believed that they can not hear actually words (nor comprehend them as their brains are still developing).
I really wish this were a true story because, there should be mothers this dedicated to the well being of their children!

a child can hear in the womb and actually recognize it’s mothers and fathers voices so this wouldn’t surprise me but consider the source tabloids usually always lie though some of the reports printed in them are later admitted to be true by the stars

I believe it. You can imprint on a fetus.

People are lame, i doubt this is true. I just can’t believe people are actually agreeing & saying its cute…why are you trying to stop kids from hearing curse words when they will eventually hear them, and say them at some point anyway? By the age of 4 most kids know curse words, and know not to say them around adults. I swear we want to baby children for too long these days, you do realize they grow up to be adults, and are exposed to many things early on. Cursing is the least of your worries.
