Clueless Outlets Say Jessica Simpson’s New Guy “Using Her”

When Perez Hilton and Star magazine team up, it’s truly a thing of beauty.

The tabloid, which has published such ridiculous garbage about Jessica Simpson that she threatened to legally challenge them twice, now speculates that her new beau Eric Johnson is “using her” for money.

“Jessica is so starved for love, she just doesn’t see any of Eric’s faults,” claims a Star “insider.” His “faults,” apparently, are accompanying Simpson on a birthday vacation to Italy and sharing amenities.

Hilton can’t wait to pipe up, taking Star‘s story and insisting Simpson is “usually unlucky in love!” After regurgitating the tab’s story about Johnson and Simpson’s fancy trip, the blogger buys into the notion that the former football player is “just using her.”

“Smart guy, ha!” chortles Hilton. “But will Jess catch on??”

But will Jess catch on?

Um, Hilton recently reported that Jack Nicholson was pursuing Simpson. He’s also tied her (wrongly) to Taylor Kitsch. And to Gerard Butler.

So maybe it’s the blogger who should “catch on” and realize he has no idea what he’s talking about with Simpson.

Maybe Simpson had Johnson come with her to Italy… because she likes him. As a source close to Simpson tells Gossip Cop, she’s a “savvy woman and knows who to trust and who not to, and so far Eric’s been a good guy.”

As usual, Star and Hilton have plopped themselves far from logic in order to brew scandal.

What a team!

    I wish Perez Hilton will leave her alone. He has been darn right envious and jealous since 2004. Why is it that some celebs he talks about and some he doesn’t? Pure nasty and hateful. How can anybody in Simpson camp stand him. If anybody is using her, then what concern is it of his. I think it’s very unfair for him to do this fellow like that from the very beginning of their relationship. I beginning to really “hate” Perez. This is just not fair. Does he have anybody? Then somebody needs to get on his bandwagon and talk about his lover/s. He is so dirty and low. I don’t see how the Simpsons can even look at him.

    They as a couple are so beautiful until they just can’t stand it. Star is mad because she has a lawsuit pending.
    Hilton is just plain jealous and envious of her. He wants all the men to himself, but I don’t know why he always picks on Jess’ men. I wish somebody would just punish him. I am not a violent person, but I can’t stand the man. I don’t know why he messes with her so much. Joe Simpson should see how much he respects him as at one time working with him. Perez’s evilness and jealousy outweighs his senses.

    US weekly has a vendetta out for sure against Simpson & Star & have for a couple years. Makes you wonder who in these mags used to work for SIMPSONS.
    Sad actually & what man can put up with this kind of scrutniy. Doesn’t matter how much he cares for Jess. Thsi si just nasty & uncalled for.. Its like the mags want another LOHAN & SPears on there hands.. very very sad.

    Jessica deserves some happiness in her life & people just need to back off before one morning we walke up to something that will upset her fans..

    She didn’t wreck any home, she has no sextape & she doesn’t do drugs & it would seem those that do the following things listed get more positivity then Jess.. Strange world.

    Perez is a douche.

    Jessica Simpson has fans all over the world. I am calling for all of her fans to get together to get something done about Perez and all the tabloids ganging against her. Something right this day and time. WE NEED TO GET UP A PETITION OR SOME SORT OR SOMETHING IMMEDIATELY. This girl can’t even go anywhere in peace. I will not stand by as being an American to see someone that I care about be treated this way. That’s just like letting a person get hit or somebody trying to kill somebody without trying to do something to help the victim. When one tabloid stops the other starts. I HAVE HAD ENOUGH OF THIS. I will write a letter to right department in the US government if I have to..This is too sicking. I cannot sit here and see this happen. ALL TABLOIDS NEED BOYCOTTING. When they do this to her, they are doing it to her fans too.

    OMG, what the heck is she wearing. She’s such a pretty girl but the shower curtain is for the shower – it’s not clothing.

    Sylvia Smith, it’s a cover for a bikini. Under it is a bikini. We wear it to the beach or on a boat. She wasn’t the only one with an outfit like that. If you keep up with her you will see some of her friends had the sheer ones on. Hers is more opaque. They hung around a lot of water the entire vacation. Glad to keep you informed, Sylvia.
