Jessica Simpson And Eric Johnson Fighting Over Making Daughter Maxwell A “Child Star”?
Jessica Simpson and Eric Johnson are NOT fighting over the singer’s supposed desire to make their 3-year-old daughter Maxwell, a “child star,” despite a bogus tabloid report. Gossip Cop can exclusively bust this claim. We’re told it’s “nonsense.”
According to the National Enquirer, Simpson, who started her singing career as a pre-teen, wants her young daughter to follow her path, but Johnson isn’t on board. A so-called “source” tells the tabloid, “Eric’s against exposing Max to child-star nightmares. He thinks she’s way too young.”
The tabloid further alleges the couple is “waging war” over the situation, and it’s causing serious troubles in their marriage. Gossip Cop, however, checked in with a source close to Simpson, who assures us the tabloid’s story is complete “nonsense,” and the singer is not pushing her daughter into show business Of course, we’re not surprised by the magazine’s inaccurate report, as Gossip Cop has repeatedly corrected the outlet for its false claims about the singer.
Gossip Cop recently busted the Enquirer for wrongly alleging that Simpson spent thousands of dollars on sex toys during a shopping spree. Shortly before that, we debunked the magazine’s ridiculous rumor that the singer was reuniting with her ex-husband Nick Lachey. And prior to that tall tale, Gossip Cop shot down the tabloid for claiming Simpson gets a $1 million makeover each year. The magazine’s latest child star claim is similarly untrue.
