Jessica Simpson Debuts Baby Daughter Maxwell Drew on People Cover

Jessica Simpson is debuting newborn daughter Maxwell Drew on the cover of People.

In addition to a series of photos of the baby, Simpson says inside the magazine, “Life has completely changed” since her daughter’s arrival.

She explains, “From how I sleep to what I think about, Maxwell has definitely taken over everything!”

Nursing, she adds, has become “a full-on job.”

Simpson notes that she and fiance Eric Johnson “stare at [Maxwell] all the time… We can’t get enough!”

“It’s the worst if I have to pump and give Eric a bottle to give her… I miss holding her and having that closeness,” says the proud new mother.

    The shot of the baby is fine. But why photoshop Ms. Simpson to within an inch of her life. Though he is featured inside the magazine, I hate when Dads are not included on the cover or in the title.

    there are not really pretty babies (put nicely) as much as there are some not good looking people. but yeah, i never saw butt ugly person or maybe my imagination just dont go that far so i don’t know how (s)he should look like

    This baby was 3 weeks old when the pic was taken. That baby is beautiful! The more weight of the baby when born, the stronger. That’s baby weight, she will lose it + she is in a laying position.

    Stinking HATER. You must be a pap who likes to prey on children. Evidently, you don’t have children and don’t know anything about life. Watch you get what you are saying back to you personally. Your children or your closest relative might not be as fortunate as this child ALL BECAUSE YOUR HATRED. Cabbage Patch dolls are beautiful. That’s why they are dolls. This baby is far beyond Cabbage Patch. You can’t hurt Jessica because she loves her child dearly and nothing can change that.

    How do you know that she was photoshopped? Have you seen her to know that? People didn’t photoshop her before when they did the baby shower pics. Why should they do it now? There was even a video of her baby shower. You just wanted the paps to get a hold of her so that they can photoshop her like they have been doing and also get wrong angle shots. Remember that paps photoshop by blowing her up so that they can sell to tabloids so that they can make money. Tabloids even made her fiance look bigger by thinking that they would make more money. They always made him look bigger too and when his and her pics were taken by her personal PHOTOGRAPHER, which paps are not, he is a much nicer smaller build man and she looked smaller too… it also showed on the videos. When I had my babies, many people told me that I didn’t look as if I had a baby. You lose a lot of fluid. Maybe the Dad didn’t want to be on the cover. That’s their business. Who cares about what you think? It’s their lives and they know how to live it like you would know how you want to live yours. You just want to hate and be miserable over something you have no control over. What you want to see is the negative side of the paparazzi so that you can further complain about her. It all is about hating to you.

    Those little chubby jaws will dissipate when she gets older. If she were my little girl, I would be kissing those jaws all the time. So cute at just the beginning of 3 weeks old. She is 41/2
    weeks now. Babies change every day… physically and mentally. So cute!!! This baby looks just like Jess, especially the eyes and jaws when she was a baby. You see what Jess looks like now! The rest of the pics are so beautiful too.

    i know some of you ppl live in the world of every child is beautiful. But that simply not true. Now I won’t call the baby ugly but she is certainly not cute. We have all seen cute babies and not so cute ones. Now it doesn’t mean she will always stay that way but based on THAT pic Maxwell is NOT a baby I would like twice at.. SORRY

    I have to disagree on the photoshopping — they DID photoshop her. Jessica is a beautiful woman at any size, but she is no size 8 as she appeared in People. If she were indeed that small (as portrayed in People), then why would she be vowing to lose 60-80lbs per her Weight Watchers contract?

    I am not one of those people who hates on women for gaining weight and she carries hers well …. but it’s absolutely obvious that she was photoshopped heavily for this shoot. Go look at this week’s candid shots of her on her way to workout — U K Mail Online posted them.
