Jessica Simpson is pregnant!

The singer, who’s been sporting a noticeably fuller figure and donning loosely-fitting clothes over the past couple of weeks, announced today that she and fiance Eric Johnson are set to become first-time parents.

“It’s true – I”m going to be a mummy!” Simpson tweeted on Monday, along with a photo of her dressed up as a mummy for Halloween and holding her baby bump.

The couple got engaged last November.

    Didn’t we all pretty much know this already? It was either pregnancy or she was gaining a lot of weight. Pick one. Guess she wanted to wait til Halloween to make her corny joke. Good thing the kid isn’t due in a day or two.
