Jessica Simpson Spends $50,000 A Month On Alcohol And Food?
Jessica Simpson does NOT spend $50,0000 a month on gourmet food and expensive alcohol, despite a ridiculous tabloid report. Gossip Cop can exclusively bust this claim. We’re told it’s “nonsense.”
The National Enquirer quotes a so-called “source” saying Simpson and husband Eric Johnson “have cases of the finest wines and champagnes delivered to their home every week,” and are also constantly eating at “high-end restaurants.” The magazine’s dubious insider further claims, “Jessica may have money to burn, but it’s gotten a little ridiculous how much they’ve been spending, especially on their wine collection.”
The tabloid then goes on to describe Simpson and Johnson as “looking rotund” lately, before quoting its seemingly phony source as saying, “They’re piling on the pounds but they don’t care. Both of them have decided to ditch the diet and embrace the good life, even if it’s at the expense of their waistlines and their bank accounts.”
But Gossip Cop checked in with a very reliable source close to Simpson, who laughed off the tabloid’s claim before exclusively assuring us it’s “nonsense.” In fact, the Enquirer is the same repeatedly refuted tabloid that Gossip Cop recently busted for falsely alleging Simpson spent thousands of dollars on sex toys. The magazine’s latest tale about the singer’s supposed $50,000 per month food and alcohol budget is equally wrong.
