Jessica Simpson Shows Off 60-Pound Weight Loss at Clothing Event (PHOTOS)

Jessica Simpson showed off her even slimmer body on Saturday at an event for her clothing line in Tampa, Florida.

Simpson, who gave birth to daughter Maxwell in May — posed on the red carpet with her sister Ashlee as she promoted her Jessica Simpson Collection at a Dillard’s store.

By several accounts, the Weight Watchers pitchwoman has shed 60 pounds.

Two months ago, while being interviewed by Katie Couric, Simpson said, “It’s really not about the numbers. I’ve lost enough weight where I can pat myself on the back,” adding jokingly that the amount she dropped equaled “a small child!”

She credited her transformation to reforming her diet and exercise habits, including giving up “slutty brownies” and cutting down on Velveeta.

    stop covering every little thing Jessica does she lost 60lbs in about 6 months and has to keep the last ten if she’s still nursing her daughter ask any celeb that’s ever done it for more than 6 months

    You have three comments with the same message. So what if she’s showing off an outfit. She looks great and happy. The clothes fit her. It’s not a crime or scandalous. Is she supposed to wear a swimsuit in the middle of Fall from some other designer to appease you? People have been harping at her about her weight gain for way too long.

    You are misunderstanding what I wrote. I was telling Gossip Cop that the tabloids and he have it wrong. Jessica is showing off her outfit that is a JS Collection outfit which was why she was there… not her weight loss. She does it every year.

    If you don’t understand, the comments were rewritten because Gossip Cop deleted the one I posted in the beginning. Each time he deleted them I rewrote them, then after I told him about them, he showed all that I had written. Therefore, I felt that he was playing some kind of game with me. He has done that before to me.

    Don’t mistaken me, Jessica Simpson is a doll to me. She looks great in anything she wears. She can wear a sack and still look good.They always write about everything she does. I just felt that she needs a break from all that. The articles seem as if she was there to just show her weight loss. She was working for JS Collection and just wore an outfit to represent her company and that was all.
