Jessica Sanchez hasn’t lost any of vocal prowess since coming in second to Phillip Phillips on “American Idol.”

The 16-year-old showed off her insanely good voice at Game 1 of the NBA Finals on Tuesday.

Sanchez sang “The Star Spangled Banner” before the Miami Heat and the Oklahoma City Thunder faced off at the Chesapeake Energy Arena.

    She was awesome, stupendous, outstanding … I said the same after hearing her sing the Star Spangled Banner at the Pacquiao-Bradley Fight but I think she sang the anthem much better at the NBA Finals. It could be because she had no orchestral/band accompaniment (so you can clearly hear her voice) and she just gets better and better each time she sings (it).

    Chris Rene didn’t win X Factor and he has record deal

    I always worry that a singer will screw up the notes to the phrase, “Oh say does that star spangled BANNER YET WAVE . . . ” The word “banner” should have one quarter note and two eighth notes, NOT four eight notes as so many people sing it. Jessica Sanchez did it correctly, perfectly, beautifully.
