Jessica Lange and Sam Shepard have split, Gossip Cop confirms.

The actress and playwright actually broke up some time ago, but the news was just made public on Monday.

Lange, who currently stars on “American Horror Story,” began dating Shepard in 1982.

The couple has two children together.
