Jessica Alba NOT “Cheap,” Despite Report
Jessica Alba is NOT “cheap,” nor does she give her employees minimal bonuses, despite a new report. Gossip Cop can debunk this claim. We’re told it’s “not true.”
“Jessica Alba, Hollywood Tightwad!” blares a headline in this week’s Star, which goes on to claim the actress is so cheap she’s become the “customer, and boss, from hell.” A so-called “source” tells the tabloid, “She barely tips anywhere she goes and provides minimal bonuses for her staff at Honest Company.” What’s more, the magazine further contends Alba is so cheap she cuts even more corners by employing members of her own family. “Her cousins work as her assistant and nanny, because, as she says, you don’t have to pay family members nearly as much as people you hire from an agency,” purports the publication’s seemingly made-up insider.
But Gossip Cop investigated, and a source close to the situation assures us the report is “not true.” Alba is not cheap, nor does she give her employees minimal bonuses and employ members of her own family in an attempt to cut costs. And, if anything, we’re further assured the star is “extremely generous.” It’s simply yet another fake news story.
Of course, this is not the first time Gossip Cop has busted the outlet for its bogus articles about the actress. In October, we called out the tabloid for falsely alleging Alba and Gwyneth Paltrow were feuding. And shortly before that tall-tale, we corrected the magazine for wrongly claiming Alba and her husband, Cash Warren, were going to couples therapy in an effort to save their marriage. Neither report was true, and the same goes for this latest one.
