“Jersey Shore” to test their knowledge on “Ellen” and “Tonight Show with Jay Leno”

Snooki, The Situation, Pauly D, and other nicknamed stars of the “Jersey Shore” will test their knowledge (or lack thereof) when they tape appearances this week on “Ellen” and “The Tonight Show with Jay Leno.” 

On Thursday, the “Jersey Shore” crew will stop by the daytime talk show, where Ellen DeGeneres will have them play her hysterical game “Know or Go.”

Basically, contestants stand on a platform and are asked a series of questions. But should they answer incorrectly, after Ellen pushes a button, they’re eliminated by falling through a hole in the platform’s floor.

The taped episode airs on Monday, so set your DVRs.

While out West, the cast will also tape an installment of “Jaywalking All-Stars” to air on Jay Leno’s first week back as host of the “Tonight Show.”

Back in December, Snooki, Pauly D and The Situation competed in a “Jaywalking All-Stars” segment — a mock question-and-answer quiz show —  and embarrassed themselves with their ignorance.

Gossip Cop is fairly certain that unless the questions posed during “Know or Go” and “Jaywalking All-Star” are only about hair gel and fake tans, these two taped segments will be pretty funny.
