“Jersey Shore” location still not chosen, despite reports

Under the headline, “EXCLUSIVE: Second Season of Jersey Shore to Shoot in South Beach,” Moveline claimed that it could “confirm that Jersey Shore has committed to its season two setting: South Beach.”

The site went to say, “Snooki, the Situation, and all the rest will be heading to Miami Beach in May. Once there, they’ll stay in a house off Lincoln Road in SoBe that MTV is currently renting and renovating for the occasion.”

Well, this is BIG news – mostly to MTV.

A source connected to the show’s production tells Gossip Cop, “No location is confirmed.” In fact, the production team has yet to pitch locations to upper management at MTV.

While Miami may eventually be the locale, as of now the sunny city hasn’t even been sold to MTV.

Added the production source, “I guess when the crew scouts locations it sets off alarms.”
