For the first time in show history, “American Idol” let the viewers determine this week’s Bottom Two – but asked the judges to decide which contestant would be eliminated.

As host Ryan Secrest explained on Wednesday’s show, the one female and the one male contestant who received the lowest number of votes would be subject to elimination.

On Thursday, it was revealed Jeremy Rosado and Elise Testone were on the bottom, leaving Jennifer Lopez, Steven Tyler and Randy Jackson with a big decision to make.

In the end, Rosado was sent home.
