Jeremy Renner And Sonni Pacheco Reach Divorce Settlement, Will Share Custody
Jeremy Renner and Sonni Pacheco’s bitter divorce battle appears to have come to an end as the warring spouses have reportedly reached a settlement agreement.
As Gossip Cop has reported, the former couple split in December just 10 months after getting married. Renner and his estranged wife have a daughter 2-year-old Ava, and went on to claim the other was an unfit parent. Pacheco accused Renner of having an unsafe residence and holding on to her passport and social security card, and wanted their prenuptial agreement invalidated due to “fraud.” Renner fired back last week, alleging that Pacheco used him to get a green card and threatened to release “intimate” videos if he didn’t support her financially. He also accused Pacheco of favoring drugs and alcohol over the well-being of their daughter, even claiming she left Ava home alone once.
But while Pacheco wanted to change their 50/50 custody agreement to have primary custody, their new settlement ensures that the shared arrangement will stick. In addition, the movie star will give $13,000 a month for child support, but the prenuptial agreement will be enforced, and with the marriage so short-lived, Pacheco will not get spousal support. According to TMZ, Pacheco’s attorney warned in court on Wednesday that there could be additional issues, but Jenner’s lawyer said she considered the case fully resolved.
Renner hasn’t personally spoken out about the contentious ordeal, and only revealed his marriage last fall, explaining he wanted to give Pacheco “privacy.” It’s unclear if that will still be the case.
