Jeremy Renner Slams The Kardashians: “Ridiculous People With Zero Talent”

Jeremy Renner is the latest actor to take aim at the Kardashian family, calling the reality TV clan “ridiculous people with zero talent.”

The Bourne Legacy star talks about his disdain for fame in an interview with The Guardian, rolling his eyes when his interviewer brings up the Kardashians.

Renner says, “Oh, all those ridiculous people with zero talent who spend their lives making sure everyone knows their name.”

“Those stupid, stupid people,” adds the movie star.

Renner, for his part, reveals, “I know it’s a cliche but I never wanted to be famous.”

    Well I don’t necessarily love the Kardashians, but I also find it the height of lost manners to judge people you don’t know. You can have your opinions, but when you’re famous yourself, it would behoove you to find better ways to word them. Calling them “stupid people” is not nearly as affective as making a more intelligent comment in regard to the consumerism that even allows people like the Kardashian’s to be famous.

    If success, for you, is making money, then the Kardashian’s have to be seen in some regard as intelligent. The fact that they can even make money doing what they do, is where the actual tragedy resides.

    At the end of the day I don’t really care either way… In the famous words of someone cliche “Just Do You…”

    I think he should keep his opinions to himself regardless as to how he feels about the Kardashian’s. It is never good move to pass judgment on people by calling them stupid. I’m sure he does not want people commenting or questioning his sexuality.

    The reason actors comment on this is because in the industry, talent DOES mean something. There are hardworking, talented people that deserve more accolades but aren’t willing to sell out by shoving their name into everyone’s faces. They genuinely want to work their way to success with the talent they have. An exploitative family like the Kardashians (who already came from money) are making money off of other people’s consumerist stupidity. Yeah, they’re laughing all the way to the bank- at your expense. Wake up.

    the reality is that it is true,,,they have no talent, they only show you what they “make up” for you to see, and everyone knows that it is all manipulated, but, the shallow people of this country are entranced with money,,,,not all money is good money, nor are all people good people. not even enough to be honest people, and when it comes right down to it, and not alot of people are willing to admit it,,,but this is classic narcissim at its worst….but, it is wanning…..that is sad when money makes poeple, anybody, do things like they do…yes, you need money to survive, but when you sell your sould for it…………

    I really like Jeremy Renner but what is it with actors when they become famous they either can’t kill themselves fast enough or spend just about every interview letting everyone know that they really never wanted to be famous in the first place. Then don’t continue to act … take up another profession or just retire; believe it or not your fame would fade and you wouldn’t have to worry about it anymore. Barring that scenario please shut up about how you never wanted to be famous.

    I can’t stand hypocrites. I’m not a fan of the kardashians but trashing other people just because you don’t agree how they live their lives or what they consider work is just arrogant. Also, BS you didn’t want to be famous. No one wanting to be an actor becomes an actor to remain anonymous, there are other jobs you could do where no one would know who you are. There is a certain amount of wanting to be famous and wanting the glory of the spotlight when someone turns to acting. If you don’t want to be famous, stop doing movies and stop doing interviews telling people about yourself. Shut up and do your craft and stop making comments about not wanting to be famous while promoting your new movie.

    As for the kardashians, they didn’t make themselves famous, their fans did, those same fans that will probably go out and see the bourne legacy so really you are calling your own fans stupid.

    I hate to tell you this but, they do try to make themselves more famous, by tweeting daily bikini shots of them selves and releasing xxx rated films ensuring they are constantly in the public eye. Are they worthy of the attention? absolutely not in my opinion. I think they need to get real jobs.

    Yes. they do strive to gain attention and fame by being in the public eye, but then again, the public doesn’t ignore them. People give them their attention and their antics prove successful. People have this thing called “free will”. Jeremy Renner’s comments about them being talentless may be true but they’re far from stupid. They profit by successfully capturing the public’s attention and they make do without “talent.” They have businesses and they have reality T.V. They aren’t taking any prime movie roles away from serious actors or people with talent. They’re just good at what they do: being famous. I think he could have shown a bit more class in his comments. The only reason he’s getting attention for saying what EVERYONE already thought/said is because he’s FAMOUS. Indeed a hypocrite
