For a brief time I had friendly communication with someone living in Thailand through PM’ s on a board, and she had to be very careful about what she wrote was going on in her country as the government must have created such fear over their people that they fear their communications are monitored. I did not doubt that possibility. That bit of news was enough for me to fear visiting Thailand. Yet my nephew traveled their without incident. So I hesitate to draw unfair conclusions. I just feel so sympathetic to people living in countries where they must be so cautious. We who already have the precious freedoms must cherish them and not allow them to be slowly eroded. We must think twice before voting for a candidate embracing the extreme fringe or the religious zealots who wish to force their agenda on everyone. Middle of the road is fair to everyone. I do not force my beliefs on anyone. I do not want others beliefs to be forced on me and alter my choices.
